As the creator of this One-Name Study, I suppose I should be the first to say "Hello". I'm Paul Melhuish, born in Devon, have lived in various places and now almost back home, in Somerset.

I started researching my family tree over 20 years ago and for nearly all of that time I have been stuck on my GGGG-grandfather Melhuish. More of that anon in other parts of this website.

For most of those 20 years I have been slightly surprised that there was no one-name study for "Melhuish", so eventually I decided I had to do it myself. The study and the website are here primarily for you, so do tell me what you want from it, and how it can be improved.
