I have a few certificates I bought following a false trail, when I located a George Henry Melhuish in Stockton-on-Tees. He was even the son of a music shop manager and that fitted with a working class man playing mandolin. But sadly, it was not the right man, as I discovered from another forum.

There is only one Melhuish recorded on the Place of Birth map in the North-East. Feel free to add any others that you know.
